Message about a property

Talk to sellers, agents and buyers without sharing your number.

1Step 1
Start from the listing#
On a property page, press Send Message. The conversation opens with the listing attached. Not signed in? You can send a message without an account, and the seller replies to your email.
2Step 2
Talk in real time#
Conversations live in Messages. You see when someone is typing and when your message has been seen, you can react to messages, and you can delete your own.
3Step 3
Share photos, documents and listings#
Press the attach button: photos (up to ten at once), a PDF of up to 25 MB, or one of your own listings. Images can be JPEG, PNG or WebP.
4Step 4
Never miss a reply#
A new message shows on the bell at once. If it is still unread ten minutes later, we email you; reading it first cancels the email.
5Step 5
Block or report#
The ⋮ menu in a conversation has Report and Block. Blocking stops new messages in both directions and keeps the history. Blocked people are listed on My Account, where you can unblock them.
